The Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester is among the top business schools in the world. At Simon “Thinkers Become Leaders” and this group of leaders wanted to reach their audience in a way that was relevant and convenient for today’s business leaders–in their pocket.

New advances in mobile technology have greatly improved the user experience and Apple’s iPhone is on top. ITX set about creating an interactive iPhone application that would allow the Simon School to harness the incredible power of the third screen.

Instead of building a static app, ITX built a mobile platform that would allow the Simon School and other mobile clients the ability the update the content on their app. ITX’s new platform, called MobilityCMS, combines a custom mobile application with a web-based content management system. MobilityCMS allows the Simon School to update their app in real time across multiple mobile platforms including iPhone and Android.

The Simon Graduate School of Business was our first client on MobilityCMS–proving their innovation isn’t just in the classroom.
